Beyond Arthur’s passion for performing as a musician is his heart for music education and jazz advocacy. In his efforts to empower young and aspiring musicians, he curates jam sessions, workshops, and classes that are open to the public, and is always actively sharing resources, ideas and information whenever he can.
Arthur also pursues his research interest by the side, focusing primarily on the phenomenology and practice of swing in Jazz and various sub-genres. He intends to write and publish a book that will explore different definitions of swing, while providing insight into its rudiments and application across musical contexts and genres.
